5 Ways to Use: Evian Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray

Evian Mineral Water Facial Spray Review

Let's talk skincare, shall we? Today I'm reviewing* the evian® Brumisateur®, which is super cool addition to any beauty lover's routine.

It's essentially water in a bottle, which somehow works like magic. I've been combining this with both my favorite skincare and makeup products to keep my skin hydrated, refreshed, and always looking flawless. I love products like this because there isn't just one specific purpose for it, rather it can be used in a variety of different ways.

Evian Mineral Water Facial Spray 5 Ways to Use

1. Pre-foundation moisturizer

The first way I use this product is as a prep spray. After completing my morning skincare routine, I'll spray this on my face for instant hydration. I let it sit for a few seconds, then wipe the excess off with a towel. I'll follow up with my moisturizer, primer, and then apply my foundation.

2. Easier foundation application

I was using the e.l.f. Mineral Mist for this step, but the evian spray works just as well! Dampening my brush helps my foundation go on smoother and look more natural. This step is especially useful if you have dry skin, or like me, live in a cold and dry climate during the winter.

3. Eyeshadow intensifier

I've never really understood how people get some of the least pigmented shadow to apply so nicely, but I think I've found their trick! Spraying a bit of this facial spray onto an eyeshadow brush first helps colors appear bolder and more pigmented. I've even tried this with some of my most under-performing shadows and it's worked great. Just remember that primer, too!

4. After makeup refresh

I always finish off my makeup look with a setting spray, but this mineral facial spray is nice to use in between application and setting, because it helps my foundation and powder to look less cakey and more natural. I really like adding this step, especially when I plan on using a mattifying setting spray like the one shown above.

5. Midday touchup

Do you ever notice how about halfway through the day your makeup just starts to look like... a mask? I notice that throughout the day, my foundation starts to sink into fine lines, cling to dry spots, and just look a little less than fabulous. I love the evian facial spray for perking up my face when it's starting to look dull and overworked.

Whichever way I choose to use it, this is a stellar product that I'm sure I'll repurchase over and over again. What are some of your favorite multi-purpose beauty products?
