Devil Makeup for Halloween + Halloween Costume Memories

Devil Makeup Tutorial

It's that time of year again! The first of my Halloween makeup tutorials is live on my channel (I'll embed it below, as well) and I'm so excited! I have a few more planned for you, but after finding some devilish accessories lying around, I thought this would be a good first costume to try out for you guys. I love the lips, which are a bright red lined with black. I can see this working wonderfully for a vampire or zombie look, too!

I'm still waiting on the costume I'll actually be wearing but I can't wait to show you! In the meantime, let's take a second to reminisce about some of my favorite Halloween costumes past.

This one is from 1st or 2nd grade, maybe. I went as Esmerelda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, one of my favorite films of the moment. I've been many other Disney princesses over the years, including Pocahontas and Princess Jasmine!

This couldn't have been too long after that, and it's one of my favorites ever. I dressed up as a nerd, complete with wonky teeth and a hat with a propeller. I was obsessed with Archie comics at the time and I think some of my inspiration came from Dilton Doiley, the resident dork.

I love this picture with my sister because her costume cracks me up every time! She went as a nerd this time and she looked so funny. I went as Holly Golightly, the character made famous by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. This has become a go-to costume for me when I'm in a pinch because it's so easy to do. All you need is some gloves, a black dress, some pearls, and sunglasses. I was in 8th grade when this photo was taken but I've went as Holly many times since!

Do you have any costume ideas for this year? Let me know what you plan on going as!
