Glamour Dolls Makeup Review & Swatches
The first thing I tried from this line is the Glamour Dolls Lip Creams. I was sent two colors, Karma and Juicy Melons. Juicy Melons is a soft citrus color while Karma is a deep purple, which will be perfect for fall and winter. This product is interesting because color payoff is decent while it also moisturizes the lips. I love lippies like this for quick on-the-go needs, like running to class.
The Glamour Dolls Gypsy Eyeliner in Black & White comes in an adorable package and is a great staple makeup item. I don't use pencil liners on a daily basis, but I have been experimenting more with white liner to open up the eye. This is a pretty standard liner but I have no complaints.
The packaging on these Glamour Dolls Lip Glosses is to die for. Not only that, the product is pretty great, too. I received Naked Banana, a gorgeous nude pink, and Wildflower, which is a bright tangerine color. I love how these glosses apply - they're super smooth and the stay power is great too. They are more pigmented than most glosses I've tried and make a nice look on their own, without any color underneath.
Oh, this mascara! The Lashlights Mascara by Glamour Dolls is amazing! I was NOT expecting great results from this mascara, I'll be honest. I am super picky with mascara and usually layer a few different ones to achieve a full, dramatic look. This one looked great on it's own. It's lengthening, volumizing, and also includes a cute mirror on the back of the tube.
I tried out two of the Glamour Dolls Gloss Snob products, and I did not expect them to be packed with so much color! I expected Topless, the nude color on the right to be way too pale for me, but turns out, it's super pretty. While these colors are super pigmented, they're nice because you can also build them up or down. Zombie Kiss is also a beautiful color that I can't wait to wear more.
The Kitty Kisses Tinted Lip Balm is too cute not to love. The color I have is called Hiss, and it's a soft berry color. Be warned: this product does not warrant much color at all, and is more of a sheer than anything. It does really hydrate the lips though, something I really appreciate. I personally like the subtlety of the color as I feel like it makes it really low maintenance, but people looking for bold, glamorous lips might stick with one of the other products I mentioned instead.
Hopefully these swatches help you make the right decisions for you! I'll be featuring these in upcoming makeup looks, I'm sure. And at $5 or less each, it's not hard to collect them all. Peruse your options at GlamourDollsMakeup.com and let me know what you think! I'm thinking I need to get my paws on a few more products, they're just too cute!
