Moisturize!

I have terribly dry skin! I also spend most of my time in southwest Michigan. Winters are brutal, making my skin even more dry and irritated. Here are my favorite products and tricks to keep skin refreshed and moisturized during those cold winter months.

Body:

The Healing Garden Relax Therapy 2 in 1 Body Wash/Lotion - $6.79, drugstores
I love taking showers in the winter because I'm always so cold, but I hate how dry my skin feels once I get out. This body wash has lotion in it so my skin feels soft and healthy once I step out of the shower.

Vaseline Intensive Rescue Moisture Locking Lotion - $5.49, drugstores

I use this all over my body right before bed and I never have to reapply! It's great (and cheap)!

Face:

St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub: Renew and Firm - $4.00 drugstores
Not only do I love this product for how smooth and blemish-free it has made my skin, but it has also become a part of my daily moisture routine. I wash my face with it right before bed and almost instantly my face feels tighter, healthier, and less dry and tired.
SkinCeuticals Emollience - $50, SkinCeuticals
This moisturizer is light and can be used whenever your skin feels a little dry. It is gentle and doesn't irritate my skin. You only need to use a small amount, so a single jar lasts for months.
Lips:

Brown Sugar and Olive Oil Scrub - $5 - $10, drugstores
This is an easy, cheap way to exfoliate your lips when they are dry. Just mix about a teaspoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of brown sugar, then rub on your lips for about 30 seconds. Rinse, and then apply lip balm. Or, try mixing brown sugar with Vaseline.

Burt's Beeswax Lip Balm - $3, drugstores
This is my go-to lip product. It is all natural and smells great!
