Mr. Beams Review
I know what you’re thinking. Why is she writing about a light? Isn’t this a beauty blog? While I love writing about makeup and fashion, I also care about my home. AND this light actually helps me be a better style blogger, believe it or not. I received the Mr. Beams LED MB370 Spotlight with Remote to try with the intention of using it for my back porch. We have one out there now, but it’s not the greatest or the brightest and I knew there had to be better. Well, it works for that, and very well might I add. But I've also found a few more surprising uses for it, too.
The cool thing about this is that you can vary the intensity of the light with the click of a button. Since it comes with a handy remote, it's easy to use and control, even for short people like me. There are two settings for brightness, which I think is awesome. There are also controls to use motion technology to turn the light on, and a pivoting head, which makes it easy to place light where you need it most.
I think for home security, this is an awesome product, and since it's semi-portable, I've found some cool uses for it in my blogging and studies, as well. I have been loving filming at night lately, and this has been so much fun! I normally try to film in front of my old-school outdoor light, but since I can't control how long it stays on, I usually end up getting very, very frustrated. This is nice because the remote enables me to control how long I have light, and the pivoting head allows me to bounce light and use it as a spotlight. Since winter is on its way, I have a feeling this will help me out with my outfit posts for you guys!
Whether you plan on using this in a more traditional sense or as a tool for photography, I highly recommend it! Super easy to use, convenient, and awesome quality for the price.
