Outfit of the Day: Simple in the City
I had to go to center city to film for a (very stressful) school project I'm working on today, so I decided to take advantage of the wee bit of city behind me and snap a couple of photos. I really liked this simple yet glam ensemble I put together, which is perfect for a chilly fall day like today.
Unfortunately none of the key pieces are available anymore; the jacket and skirt are probably about five years old! The black top is a recent purchase from Target and the tights are the coziest fleece-lined pair from maurices.
These booties are also from maurices, and I love them because not only are they super comfy, but they are also super versatile. These go great with jeans, skirts, and dresses alike.
I didn't notice I had a leaf on my shirt, so just ignore that part. On my lips I have Wet n Wild's Megalast Liquid Lip Color in High Pitched Wine. This product is comparable to the Lime Crime Velvetines at a fraction of the price. They last forever and dry to a matte finish, which I love. This color in particular is just perfect for the season, don't you think?
I love this outfit because it's so comfortable and easy to put together, yet looks like it took more effort than it did. I also love that I made use of some older items in my closet, something I'm desperately trying to do more. Let me know what you've been wearing this season, and if you haven't seen my autumn lookbook yet, make sure to check it out for some inspiration!
